If our prize patrol spots your carpool team entering MDC’s parking are at IKEA the week of January 25th, each member of the carpool will receive a $25 Visa Gift Card while supplies last.

You won’t know which day or what time the SFCS team will be on campus so carpool to school as many days as possible that week!

Register Your SharkPool and Earn $50 each during February!

MDC West students, faculty, and staff that register with South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) will be eligible to earn $50 for carpooling ten or more days to the IKEA parking lot during the month of February 2016. +Read More+

Here’s how it works:

  1. All registered carpool groups will receive a SharkPool card from SFCS.
  2. Each day you carpool to MDC’s IKEA Parking area, ask the Public Safety Guard to stamp your card.
  3. Once participants receive 10 stamps, each carpooler will earn a $50 Visa Gift Card.

The SharkPool campaign is designed to reward carpool teams who choose to park at the IKEA lot. Only commuters who park at the IKEA lot and get their Shark Card stamped can earn the $50 incentive.

*Carpoolers who park on campus, are able to park at the available reserved carpool parking spaces and must display their SFCS Carpool Parking Permit at all times. Show the permit to the Public Safety Guard at the MDC West Campus and if carpool spaces are available, you’ll be able to park on campus. However, guards on campus are not able to stamp your SharkCard for the carpool incentive.
